A woman was recently nabbed trying to sneak onto a plane with no ticket – telling authorities she was desperate to get to LA to see Jay-Z.
The 32 year old Yaazmina Payton, from Chicago, was arrested at the Chicago O’Hare airport after managing to sneak past security and board a plane, without ever having a ticket.
An airport employee alerted staff in the boarding area after she was spotted ducking under a rope near the boarding door.
Airline staff escorted her off the flight after she failed to show a valid ticket, and she was then charged with a felony criminal trespass.
At her court hearing on Monday, Ms Payton explained that she simply ‘snuck past’ the TSA staff as they were distracted.
She also told the court that she was flying to Los Angeles to see the famous rapper and producer –though it wasn’t clear why, exactly, or if he was expecting her.
