Navy Trialing Iron-man Jetpacks to swarm Enemy Ships

It seems that Jetpacks are everywhere these days! From flying around Los Angeles Airport, to making rescues in the Lake District.

In this one, we see the Royal Navy and Royal Marines testing launching from a moving inflatable craft and landing on nearby boat.

The video was posted by the US Naval Institute. They announced that the Royal Navy is testing the jetpacks to see if the suits can be used to rapidly board ships.

U.S. Special Operations Command is also evaluating a jetpack that can reach speeds of more than 200 mph.

The jetpacks in the video are made by Gravity Industries, a British firm. They can fly for up to 10 minutes and the top speed is 85mph - more than enough to keep up with a boat.
