Elements of Byron sits right on the beach in beautiful Byron Bay, providing world-class facilities, an adults-only pool, a spa and endless views. Byron at Byron, a Crystalbrook Collection Resort

Byron at Byron – great name, by the way – is nestled amidst 45 acres of subtropical rainforest. Boasting a collection of 92 self-contained suites, the resort also provides guests with a beautiful pool complete with cabanas and poolside food and drinks (including cocktails), a fitness centre, free bikes and a shuttle to the town. 

Visitors can also wander the endless walking trails through the rainforest, or take part in daily free yoga classes. The award-winning Forest restaurant works closely to provide guests with delicious seasonal meals, with over 80% of ingredients used coming from within a three-hour drive of the resort.

The on-site Eléme Day Spa provides guests with a range of specialty spa treatments in a beautiful space, including massages, facials, body treatments, scrubs and couple or group experiences. This beautiful property is a great choice for a relaxing spa weekend away in Byron.

Victoria's at Wategos


Located on the eastern side of Byron Bay, Victoria’s at Wategos is located just off the famous Wategos beach, under the beautiful Cape Byron lighthouse. The property is a stunning Tuscan style guesthouse, providing guests with Italian-inspired rooms complete with spa baths, and surrounded by tropical landscaped gardens. 

The hotel also features a large lap pool with its own waterfall, as well as a solar heated pool featuring a cabana and sun lounge area. Breakfast is served to guests on a terrace overlooking the pool, and is only 3 kilometres from Byron Bay town. Although it doesn’t have an on-site spa, the hotel offers in-house massage, facial and other spa services, provided by fully qualified, expert therapists. All treatments can be done privately, in your room, both for singles or couples. 

This unique property offers a beautiful Byron stay in a great location, and will set you back around $3398 for a two night stay.

Gaia Retreat & Spa


The Gaia Retreat & Spa was founded in 2005 by Olivia Newton-John, Gregg Cave, Ruth Kalnin and Warwick Evans. Nestled on 25 acres in the breathtaking Byron Bay hinterland, providing endless views of the landscape, Gaia Retreat is Australia’s most awarded boutique lifestyle retreat. 

The property specialises in natural wellness experiences and holistic, specialised Day Spa treatments, all designed to help guests relax, rejuvenate and revive. The tastefully decorated rooms, suites and villas are designed to provide the ultimate space to retreat after a big day of exploring or being pampered. 

The on-site restaurant, Kukura House, provides hot breakfasts, light lunches and three-course fine dining dinners. Chefs personally select the produce from the on-site organic garden and surrounding areas.

Azabu


Situated on the outskirts of Byron Bay on a five-acre forested property, Azabu is a Japanese inspired boutique accommodation only 4 kilometres drive from the main town. Five boutique, elevated suites are provided for guests to relax in amidst the natural surrounds, all fully equipped with creature comforts and high quality modern amenities. French doors open onto private balconies, where you can enjoy the sounds of the local birdlife. 

The property also provides a resort style pool, outdoor heated spa and an elevated yoga platform in the forest. 

The exclusive day-spa offers a wide array of specialised treatments, with fully qualified therapists, including massage, facials, aromatherapy, reflexology, body scrubs and a range of beauty treatments. The spa uses locally made OrganicSpa skincare products.

Really escape – without the kids – at this adults-only retreat set in the serenity of the hinterland near beautiful Byron Bay. 

Just five minutes drive from the main town and beaches, Cape Byron Retreat is a secluded escape found amongst a lush rainforest setting. Seton 3 acres, the property offers views of the majestic Mt Warning and the surrounding hinterland. 

Guests can opt to stay in private, beautifully decorated rooms within the main house, self contained studios or 1 or 2 bedroom cottages.

Shambhala @ Byron   

Set amongst the rainforest along the white sands of Belonghi Beach, guests arriving to Shambhala @ Byron are greeted by a giant amethyst crystal between temple doors, which sets the chilled out tone for the rest of the property. 

Providing absolute privacy, the four open, modern and individually styled cottages feature 1 to 3bedrooms, full kitchens, living rooms with flat screen tv’s and private decks with dining areas, ocean views and private hot tubs, baths or saunas. The property has plenty of areas for contemplation, including a yoga/meditation area, a hot rock sauna, large steam room and a fitness centre.
